Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work experience (X1), knowledge (X2) and ability (X3) on employee performance (Y) at Hotel Golden Bay Batam. This study uses quantitative methods, the sampling technique uses non-probability sampling. data collection through the distribution of questionnaires with a sample of 38 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study used validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and to analyze the independent variable on the dependent variable, multiple linear regression analysis was carried out consisting of t test, F test and coefficients. determination of R2, using the help of a computer program, namely SPSS Version. 22. The results of this The results of test show that work experience (X1), knowledge (X2) and ability (X3) all variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Golden Bay Hotel Batam, with Fcount 14,052 > Ftable 2.874 and significant 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that work experience, knowledge and ability Ha accepted and HO rejected means that it has simultaneous similarities to the performance of employees at the Golden Bay Hotel Batam.
