Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at CV. Batam Buana Sejahtera. This study uses quantitative methods, collecting data through questionnaires with a sample of 45 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study used validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests consisting of normality tests, multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests, to analyze the independent variables on the dependent variable, multiple linear regression analysis consisted of t test, F test and coefficients determination of R2, using the help of a computer program, namely SPSS Version. 22.The results of this study show that discipline (X1) has no effect and is not significant on employee performance (Y) with a t-count 1.328 < ttable 2.018 and a significant 0.191> 0.05. Work motivation (X2). )has a significant and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a t-count 7.125 > ttable 2.018 and significant 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the discipline Ha isrejected and HOis accepted, meaning that it has no effect and is not significant on the performance of employees at CV. Batam Buana Sejahtera, and work motivation. accepted andHO is rejected, meaning that it has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at CV.Batam BuanaWith the results of the simultaneous test (F test) showing that discipline (X1), and work motivation (X2) all variables have a significant and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at CV. Batam Buana Sejahtera, with Fcount 39.648 > Ftable 3214 and significant 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that discipline and work motivation Ha isaccepted and HOis rejected, meaning that it has simultaneous similarities to employee performance at CV. Batam Buana Sejahtera.
